Forza 4 pre-orders get bonus cars

Do you like cars? Do you like retailer-specific pre-order bonuses? Well, one out of two is close enough. Today Turn 10 Studios announced the pre-order bonuses for Forza Motorsport 4, along with other extra incentives.

Each of the retailer-specific bonuses are cars. Amazon gets a Subaru Impreza WRX STI; Best Buy gets a BMW 1 Series M Coupe; GameStop gets an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde; Wal-Mart gets a MINI John Cooper Works Clubman; and Target gets a Honda CR-Z EX. These listings are for the US, but other regions will get the same incentives from different retailers.

On top of those bonuses, the first production run of Forza 4 discs will contain the Ship Bonus pack, which includes five exclusive cars: Ford Mustang GT Coupe 1965, Koenigsegg Agera 2011, Lexus SC300 1997, RUF RGT-8 2011, and Tesla Roadster Sport 2011.

Turn 10 also teased that a limited edition of the game is coming out, with details to be revealed soon. That may include the various bits of retailer bonus content, or other extra goodies.

Bundled in the announcement was the revelation that the Ferrari 458 Italia is the cover car for the game. And if you've poured hours into Forza 3, you'll be pleased to find out that this game comes with a "Profile Import" feature to bring in gift cars, bonus gifts, liveries, and credits.
