Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale (say that five times fast) is now available on Xbox Live Arcade, joining the PC retail release from Tuesday. The co-op focused action RPG will cost you $15 (1200 MSP). The game is still set for a PS3 release as well, once the PlayStation Store goes back up.

The game is based on the 4th Edition of D&D, for those who follow the classic pen-and-paper RPG. This takes the franchise in a more hack-and-slash direction, while keeping the world and RPG elements in tact. The game released alongside a new launch trailer, so check it out below while you consider shelling out 15 gold pieces.

The reviews out for it are pretty bad. Looks like a dud.

I played the demo on XBLA, it was terrible.

Abysmal screen tearing, gameplay bugs, terrible voice acting and animation. Save your time/money and go play Torchlight or something.

That's great, since 4th edition is clearly designed for videogame use (BURN). Also when's the PSN version coming out (DOUBLE BURN). /endburns

Funny thing is, the game itself uses Steamworks anyways. So they're only delaying the Steam release because... well, because.

I heard MS paid Atari to have a 30 day xbox live digital distribution exclusive, which would explain why its not on Steam for a while and why its only on dvd atm.
