Duke Nukem Forever trailer teases UK release

A new Duke Nukem Forever television ad prepares the UK for a June 10 release.

Duke Nukem is almost back for real, and in preparation for much alien stomping, strippers, and poop jokes, we have another Duke Nukem Forever trailer to take a gander at.

This particular video is a one-minute television spot airing in the United Kingdom. They're getting a June 10 release out there, while North Americans have to wait for Duke's return until June 14.

If you're a 'First Access Club' member -- meaning you pre-ordered the game or bought and registered the Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition -- remember that you'll be able to download and play the demo on June 3.

One thing is clear: Wherever you may reside, it's not long before Duke Nukem Forever brings its charmingly crass blend of sex and violence to PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

No one noticed the British way of saying canceled :(

I'm thinking about canceling it since we all can't get or buy mouse pads

Did they ever explain why the international release is 4 days ahead of the U.S.?

Rather 4 days ahead than 3 days behind...

Basically, it has to do with the time loss from daylight savings and the international date line. Normally, this would be a non-factor, but the period of time has been so extensive that an entire 4 days were lost for Europe. Had the release date not been pushed back, it is entirely possible that those 4 days would have caused file structure issues in the games authorization components and thrown the servers completely out of whack.

When GeorgeB3DR writes that book he's been approached about, he should call it Why I'm So Great and have the cover look just like that.
