Play For Japan hits $120,000 for Japan relief

The big hearts at Play for Japan have revealed they have surpassed the $120,000 mark for items sold related to the video game industry, in support of Japanese relief efforts.

Currently, a slew of God of War-based auctions have found their way on to eBay in support of the admirable cause.

Play for Japan was established to help promote and coordinate specialty auctions linked to the video game industry since the devastating events in Japan on March 11, 2011. A Gather News report via the National Police Agency indicates that, as of May 11, the death toll in Japan is quickly approaching 15,000.
