Ubisoft and Kongregate offer up to $10,000 for best Child of Eden-inspired game creation

Ubisoft and Kongregate have joined forced to offer aspiring developers up to $10,000 for creating a music game inspired by the upcoming Tetsuya Mizuguchi title, Child of Eden.

Ubisoft and flash-game provider--and recent GameStop acquision--Kongregate have joined forces to create a contest wrapped around the upcoming music title, Child of Eden. The contest asks aspiring creators to develop a music game inspired by the upcoming game from designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi.

"Indie developers and amateur game makers will have a chance to win up to $10,000 in cash prizes, and if their game is selected by the Kongregate community as one of the top 25, it will be played and judged by Tetsuya Mizuguchi himself along with the Editor-in-Chief of GameSpot.com, Ricardo Torres," a press release notes.

Submissions for the contest begins today and runs until June 21. Voting begins on Kongregate on June 22. On June 27, Mizuguchi and Torres will review the "Top 25" titles.
