Ms. Splosion Man gets '2 Girls, One Controller' mode
by Jeff Mattas, May 13, 2011 2:30pm PDTDeveloper Twisted Pixel has announced a new feature for the upcoming Ms. Splosion Man that's truly worthy of their name. Called "2G1C" ("2 Girls, 1 Controller), the new unlockable game mode tasks players with controlling two 'Splosion Gals' simultaneously - one with the left analog stick and left shoulder button, and one with the right stick and right shoulder button.
The cheeky press release explains that "It takes a keen eye and a whole lot of dexterity to keep these two girls on target, but once you get the rhythm right you're off and sploding." Good lord! Amirite?
According to Sean Riley, the man behind much of the game's multiplayer component, the mode was created so that obsessive-compulsive gamers "with no friends" could try to tackle the multiplayer experience by themselves. How thoughtful.
Ms. Splosion Man is set to blow up exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade in "mid-May."
