OnLive Duke Nukem Forever pre-order nets free MicroConsole
by Xav de Matos, May 11, 2011 2:45pm PDTOnLive has revealed a new promotion, which offers a free OnLive MicroConsole with the pre-order of Gearbox Software's Duke Nukem Forever.
This offer is another stark reminder that Duke Nukem Forever is really, actually coming out soon. No fooling.
In order to get its MicroConsole into homes, OnLive has been aggressively giving it away to users that pre-order select titles. Currently, the company is offering a similar promotion with THQ's Red Faction: Armageddon. Purchasing the game via the service is referred to as purchasing a "Full PlayPass" for the product.
In the fine print for the offer, OnLive notes that users can receive "either a free OnLive Game System or a free Full PlayPass to any game."
Duke Nukem Forever launches on June 14 in North America and June 10 internationally for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Seriously.

Why might other people? Because it lets them play video games on just about anything, no fancy monster PCs or anything required.
