              There really isn't any reason to believe those things couldn't be done with a controller.
              
              But I'm not saying that blizzard could not conceivably come up with some gameplay element that would be hard to do without m+kb; I'm saying that the core gameplay of diablo3 (arpgs in general) is well suited for console inputs.
