Sanctum gets free DLC next week
by Steve Watts, May 06, 2011 9:00am PDTSanctum will be getting a free bit of downloadable content next week, alongside a new demo for the game, developer Coffee Stain Studios announced today. The press release teases (super vague) "new content and updates, as well as a map" included in the DLC. Coffee Stain says it plans to release more content for months to come, though it didn't mention if all of it will be free like this pack.
"We're constantly working to improve Sanctum with great new content," said lead designer Oscar Jilsén. "And we're eager to get more to our fans." Coffee Stain Studios plans to release additional content in the weeks and months to come.
The game had a rough prototype demo last year to attract interest, and just released a full version this April. The new demo is aimed at attracting new players to the FPS/tower-defense hybrid.
