Hopefully you guys in the USA had a fairly interesting holiday weekend. You did, right? I was somehow suckered into going outside for a few hours again. It was painful although we did almost pick up some middle school girls at the playground. Thats always a bonus. I've got an incredible hankerin for some SmoothieKing this morning so I'm gonna leave you guys unattended for a while. Stay outa trouble! Maarten is investigating the private messaging thing today while Andy is putting the finishing touches on the reply.y code so we can have some unified code handling flat and threaded mode. Flat mode will remain the same dont worry, the only planned change is a marker at the bottom of a comment to show if there are any direct replies to that comment. (A view all replies link) I got one of those $15 miniature paper shredders for the hell of it a couple of months ago thinking oh man, this is wasted money but its so damn cool! Strangely 2 months later though I still look forward to shredding stuff. I'm 8yrs old.

    All right motherfuckers, I am going to rant.

    We all know that the internet is a very "hot" industry to be in right now. It seems like everyone and their fucking mother has a job working for some sort of "e"-something. Well, that is also where all the jobs are, and I have the fortunate luck to have a job at a company which builds applications tht run over the internet.

    I have to spend long hours with so-called web "designers", some of them dipshits with degrees in art who decide that they want to work in this new hot industry. Now, some of these people are really nice and work with you, while the rest decide that they are the fucking shit and know-it-all.

    I have one message to you cocksuckers: FUCK YOU. If there is something written in language that you do not know - DO NOT FUCK WITH IT. Some of this shit takes quite a while to compile and your "wonderful ability to design shit" probably will not help if you do not know what you are doing. Same thing everytime with these guys ..."sorry, I didn't know that I would mess it up, could you fix it?"
