While it's handy news, I was hoping that the start of Eidos' DXHR "PC WEEK" would be a little more juicy.

      :/

Honestly, I don't know what more you could want. I've already seen everything of the game that I want to until I'm playing it. No more spoilers needed...it looks awesome and I'm ready to purchase.

what's the resolution/AA/AF/ingame settings that Recommended Specs usually entail?

I'm so out of the loop on hardware. It used to be with processors that you could easily look at their names and know if it was faster than another one. But now with all the "core 2 duo quad X Obama II 4 core" nomenclature, I feel lost, especially since the number next to "ghz" seems to only be part of the picture :(

Only 2GB RAM for the recommended specs? Wow... Feels like 2GB barely runs windows 7, as it is. That's crazy stuff. :-)

If your OS is almost using 2 GB ram.... you suck at computers.

Very helpful and awesome reply! Thanks! :P

I have 8GB RAM, so it doesn't matter to me at all. However, when running a desktop for my wife with Vista and 2GB RAM, launching almost any relatively modern game (and this was several years ago), would result in a lot of disk swapping and her system chugging.

I know that Win7 is less bloated than VIsta, but we're also running the 64bit version, and I certainly noticed similar issues when I had only 2GB in that box as well.

      Swell.

Is this game coming to consoles as well?

Yup. If there are no mods for this, which with the current trend I'm thinking won't be, I'm tempted to get this for 360 for couch playing.

Yup. Tempted to get it on the 360 instead since I doubt there will be mods.

I think I'm going to go PC but I was wondering the chances of it supporting the 360 pad on the PC. If it's going to be on consoles as well then I have to assume the chances are good.

My new favorite thing is PC games with 360 controller support built in.

Yea I am really glad it's becoming common. I have some issues with my arms so using the mouse + keyboard is pretty much impossible now. Fortunately I have been able to play stuff like Alpha Protocol, Darksiders and Portal 2 on my PC still thanks to good 360 controller support. I actually like GFWL games because of this too, even if they can be a pain in the ass for other reasons.
