It's turning into a very Nintendo-centric day. The company released its fiscal results this morning, and managed to sneak in a confirmation of their next console to boot. But beyond the number-crunching and Project Cafe rumors, today also brings a new batch of downloadable games.

For DSiWare, we have the fairly impressive-sounding Inchworm Animation for $5 (500 points). It's an animation application that lets you record video, time-lapse photos, and stop-motion animation. You can make 9,999-by-9,999 pixels, if you really want a detailed image, and create animated layers with their own frame loops. Once you're done, you can export your animation to an SD card as Flash or BMP files. Mario Paint, eat your heart out.

If you want more of a game out of your game system, DSiWare is also offering Airport Mania: First Flight for $2 (200 points), which melds cute airplanes with the thrills of staying on a tight airline schedule. And Ubongo is a gem-collecting board game with various single-player modes and multiplayer for $5. It's based on the physical board game of the same name.

WiiWare brings Word Searcher Deluxe for $5, a themed word search game that scrambles the word puzzles with each play. Yes, it's that busywork activity you got from substitute teachers, now in handy game form. Finally, Learning with the PooYoos: Episode 3 gets a free demo today, and is still available to purchase for $5. The game is an edutainment title for kids aged 3-6.

After getting our hopes up last week with Mega Man X, Virtual Console has apparently taken another week off.
