Britain's answer to Vic Mackey will throw his considerable girth around in pursuit of justice on PC, Mac, and iPad next week, Telltale Games has announced.

Hector: Episode 1 - We Negotiate with Terrorists will be released on April 27 and can be pre-ordered now for $9.99. 10% of your cash will go towards Japanese earthquake relief efforts and you get a copy of Puzzle Agent thrown in for free too. Unusually for Telltale, your $10 will only get you the first episode.

Hector is a "visually enhanced" port of the iPhone adventure game developed by Straandlooper, which was released in May 2010. Telltale is working with the Northern Irish developer on the second and third episodes, which are expected to launch on all platforms this fall.

It's all part of Telltale's massive slate of upcoming titles, which includes games based upon comic book series The Walking Dead and Fables, a sequel to Puzzle Agent, and a reboot of the King's Quest franchise.
