The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D adds 'Boss Challenge' mode

The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time will feature a special "Boss Challenge" mode when it arrives on the Nintendo 3DS later this year. The mode is exactly what the name implies...

Though some fans of the Zelda franchise are perfectly fine with playing through The Ocarina of Time again when the game lands on the 3DS, Nintendo has revealed that the game will feature an additional bonus.

At a certain point throughout Link's classic N64 adventure, players will be able to access a "Boss Challenge" mode. As you might suspect from the feature's name, the mode provides players with the ability to "face any of the previous bosses they have defeated" either "one-by-one" or in one "continuous battle."

The Ocarina of Time's debut on handheld also includes the Master Quest, which first arrived on the GameCube as part of a pre-order bonus during the release of The Legend oz Zelda: The Wind Waker. Master Quest rearranges and revamps Ocarina of Time to be more difficult; perfect for loyalists who will be playing the game for the one hundredth time when it arrives for the 3DS on June 19.

Considering how easy most of the bosses were this should be interesting.

Yeah, seems like you could roll over every boss without even getting hit with only a few practice runs.

True enough but when I did first play Ocarina I wished I could have fought Shadow Link all day long, sadly I remember the fight being fairly stupid because you couldn't use Z-targeting well on Shadow Link. Anyway I'd still love to see how long I'd last in a continuous fight against boss after boss, Favorite fight? I think it was those witch sisters in the Spirit Temple... or those knights, I really wish they do this for a wind waker remake as well.
