Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City trailer: the Kennedy assassination
The Umbrella Security Service is searching for Leon S. Kennedy in the co-op RE game's first 'proper' trailer, and not to make friends.
Following a teaser trailer and a few short snippets, Capcom has released the first 'proper' trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. It could be considered slightly spoiler-y, but only if you've ignored a story point Capcom has been promoting as one of the game's big exciting features.
The trailer shows the Umbrella Security Service members on the hunt for Resident Evil 2 co-star Leon S. Kennedy in the zombie-infested city. Playing as the masked villains, up to four players will clean up evidence of Umbrella's wrongdoings and tidy up loose ends, such as Mr. Kennedy here.
As well as co-op, there'll be competitive multiplayer modes.
Developed by Slant Six Games, Operation Raccoon City is scheduled to launch on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this winter.

The way I see it, just because he shared screen time with Claire doesn't make it any less of a star role. It's possible to have more than 1 person star in a game (or film, etc.).
Besides the game is supposedly set after RE2 but before RE4. I figured it made sense to emphasize his role in the former game.
In any case he starred in both games. In the end it doesn't matter which you refer to as long as the idea gets across. :P

Any other resident evil fan see whats wrong with this trailer? If leon was killed in resident evil 2, why does he appear in number 4? Somthing tells me they are either going to do the "clone" thing or they just said screw it to the story line... It looks like its going to be good but this trailer make no sense what so ever.
