Shack PSA: Roam the Borderlands for 75% off

Steam and 2K Games want you to get lost in the wastelands of Borderlands, offering the game and all DLC for 75% off until Thursday, April 14...

10

If you're looking to explore a vast wasteland with three of your closest friends but refuse to get out of your computer chair, Steam and 2K Games has come up with a cheap alternative.

RIght now through Thursday at 10am PST, Borderlands and all of its DLC is available for 75% off its regular price. The original, DLC-free release of the game is available for $5. Each piece of the game's four add-on packs is available for $2.49 each, or in a bundle for $7.49.

If you're a novice to the series, the "Game of the Year" edition will probably be your best bet. The re-release of the Gearbox-developed title includes all four DLC releases for $7.50. Owning the "Game of the Year" edition will also give players first access to the planned Duke Nukem Forever demo.

As an added bonus, three random users that own any item featured in the Borderlands sale and have joined the official 2K Games Steam Group will be automatically entered to win 2K's entire catalog on Steam.

It's fun. Yeah, the final boss is lame as shit, but why let the last 5 minutes bother you that much compared to the 15 hours that came before that?

Yeah, I tried playing it again with Shackers a month or two ago, but it just didn't grab me. Which is funny, cuz I've got a massive boner for Firefall.

I was made to suffer through (ok I had some fun because of stupid coop crap but thats more about my bro ZenzenTen than the game itself) and then saw that fucking ending. Fuck. Boringlands where it takes a million bullets to kill everyone and strange design decision aplenty.

General Knoxx is a huge expansion pack for the price. Claptrap is pretty much a waste of time out of all of them but i think you get an extra skill point(or maybe backpack) from completing it.

Madd Moxi was the waste of time expansion- no new leveling and only 2 skill points and only a small new area to explore. Claptrap had lots of new areas, up'd the level cap, had many boss fights and definitely new backback upgrades.

I really enjoyed Moxi for what it was - horde mode challenge pulling all the different bosses, crazy mutators/modifiers, iron man challenge of making it to the last round of the unlocked arenas.. Easily worth the $2.50 price tag.

So they'll sell you the DLC in a pack for $7.50 but the entire game plus all the DLC is also $7.50?

      Steam pricing is weird sometimes.

Not sure if it's a misspell, it's however not correct in Europe.
DLC bundle is 5,99 euro and game of the year edition is 12 euro.

Although I just worked out that buying the dlc pack and the game separately is cheaper than game of the year. That's weird.

Best game EVER. I've been playing since Launch day and I still love this thing to DEFFFFF.

I personally thought Zombies and Claptraps DLC were kind of useless. General Knoxx is definitely worth it and Mad Moxxi was OK.
