The PlayStation 3 will be getting its own exclusive case in L.A. Noire, according to a new advertisement for the game. A commenter on the Rockstar site grabbed a screenshot from the ad, promising the "Consul's Car Traffic Case only on PlayStation 3." Rockstar staff replied to the user, "Look for more details on that coming soon."

Rockstar has been known to offer PS3-exclusive goodies before. PS3 Red Dead Redemption buyers got an exclusive hideout and the Walton Gang outfit. The additional content may not be huge, but it could be enough to tip you towards Sony's console if you're on the fence. Official details on the traffic case are apparently incoming, so we'll update when Rockstar spills the beans.

Really need to see if the initial development on the PS3 has lead to a more polished experience before I can decide which console to purchase for.

when has there been a case that the non-initial platform (as between 360 and PS3) had the more polished experience?

Oh, that's why they didn't do the PC port... Damn digital distribution ruining all the fun!

Seems like this game will not have the PC version, just like RDR.

I asked them the same question I asked RDR team when they demoed this in PAX East, same answer. Quite sad, actually.

I'm interested in the game, just a bit saddened that the PC probably wont see a release. I just hope the next GTA game will make it to PC.
