Brink getting Steamworks, shows off specs
by Steve Watts, Apr 12, 2011 7:45pm PDTThe fine folks at Splash Damage have revealed a few details about Brink, not the least of which is that the PC version will utilize Steamworks support. This provides voice chat, anti-cheating measures, friends support, cloud data, challenge leaderboards, and Steam achievements. Plus, auto-updates and easy downloads will be handled straight through the Steam interface. Happy day.
If you're wondering whether your PC can handle Brink, they've got you covered on that front as well. The team revealed the system requirements for the game today, so you can assure your personal rig is up to snuff before launch.
