Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade confirmed, coming to PC and consoles
by Steve Watts, Apr 12, 2011 9:00am PDTIf the BBFC leak and premature trailer weren't enough proof for you, Capcom finally officially confirmed the Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition at its recent Captivate event.
The game will be available as both a stand-alone version for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, and a downloadable add-on. Capcom didn't mention a price for the full retail version, but owners of Super Street Fighter 4 can upgrade on June 7 for $14.99 (1200 MSP). The console boxed copy will follow on June 24 in Europe, June 28 in North America, and a PC version in July.
Yesterday, producer Yoshinori Ono hinted that PC fans wanting Super Street Fighter 4 would be pleased by today's announcement. The company has apparently skipped the Super version on the PC platform, but fans probably won't complain about getting access to the new and improved model.
