Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury coming in May
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 11, 2011 12:30pm PDTAfter drifting in release limbo for a while, Treasure's revamped arena shooter Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury finally has a firm launch date. Publisher D3Publisher announced today that it'll hit Xbox Live Arcade on May 4.
The revamp of Treasure's classic 2001 Dreamcast shoot 'em up Bangai-O will be priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10). "A sensory overload of thousands of missiles" is promised, with over 100 levels and a level editor t'boot.
Today's announcement was also celebrated with a new round of screenshots, as seen to your right.
Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury was initially announced for fall 2010 but ended up delayed into spring 2011 so multiplayer and co-op could be added. Come May 4, you'll be able to enjoy the exploding fruits of that labour.
