Resident Evil trailer celebrates fifteen years of history
by Xav de Matos, Apr 05, 2011 10:15pm PDTIt's been fifteen years since the Resident Evil series first began giving gamers chills, when the first game launched on U.S. soil in 1996. Since then, the series has jumped to multiple platforms, introduced us to a wide variety of characters, and remained adamant that the best aim came from planting your feet firmly on the ground.
Capcom celebrated its longstanding series--first envisioned by game director Shinji Mikami--by releasing a trailer featuring clips over the long journey. Included in the trailer are short glimpses of the upcoming HD re-releases of Resident Evil Code: Veronica X and Resident Evil 4, as well as new footage of the Slant Six-developed side story, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
Grab a blanket, dim the lights, and put down your guide to master unlocking: it's time for a short history lesson.

From what I read, the HD remakes are for consoles only. Then the Mercenaries is 3DS exclusive.
