The first trailer for the Slant Six Games-developed zombie hunting simulator, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, has been released by Capcom and features a hail of gunfire.

The trailer features a few quick cuts of the game in action, showcasing a team of humans attempting to quell the outbreak that helped take Raccoon City off the map.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City was formally announced on March 28, after being outed by the most recent issue of OXM. Developer Slant Six Games most recently released the multiplayer-only shooter SOCOM: Confrontation on PS3 and SOCOM: Fire Team Bravo 3 on PSP.

Ah, yes. Can't believe I forgot that... considering I reviewed FTB3 for Joystiq when it launched. Edited.

Not the best video but long time RE fan here, I'm interested to see more.... I'd like RE to go back to what was RE 2 was and revive it.... We'll see... I like the label "Zombie Hunting simulator" btw made me laugh a bit, now combine that with a airplane simulator and you got zombies on a plane!

..this isn't going to be on a par with RE4 and 5, is it?
