Hideo Kojima promoted to Konami VP
by Steve Watts, Mar 30, 2011 1:00pm PDTMetal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has been promoted to the role of Vice President, Corporate Officer at Konami, effective April 1. A Konami press release details various shifting roles at the company, including another VP spot for Pro Evolution Soccer producer Shinji Enomoto.
Other new positions include new board members and a new corporate auditor. Gamasutra reports that Kazuhiko Uehara, currently listed as a corporate officer, will take over as CEO of Hudson Soft once Konami fully acquires it.
