Fabulous indie developer Amanita Design has unveiled a full slate of projects at a GameCityNights event in England, including several new games and a PlayStation 3 edition of top adventure game Machinarium.

New adventure game Botanicula is expected around the end of the year, PC Gamer reports. The site describes it as "a point-and-click adventure about five tree critters on a quest to save their home’s last seed from a pack of evil parasites." Splendid!

A new entry in the surreal Samorost series is also on the way, under the creative name of Samorost 3. It's in development for PC as well as unspecified consoles and tablets, though there's no word on a release date yet.

Amanita is also working on an interactive music video named Osada.

Lastly, Amanita announced that its splendid adventure game Machinarium will be released for download via PlayStation Network later this year, as reported by Casualgaming.biz.

Amanita founder Jakub Dvorský also spoke again about Microsoft Game Studios' decision not to publish Machinarium itself on Xbox Live Arcade, which was the only way Amanita was willing to release it on XBLA.

"They weren't interested because the game was already released for Mac and Windows, and Microsoft demanded it as part of an exclusivity deal," he said. "We're not interested in Microsoft anymore."
