I think the attraction here is that it's a game based on a specific role-playing system. People who play for that reason will find it more entertaining the more true-to-form (yet still easy-to-use) the game is to the actual Vampire RPG. Come on now, not every RPG is the next Final Fantasy, either, but people still by them. It's like web page design, content is as important as technique.
