Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailer shows more than one way to get things done
by Xav de Matos, Mar 25, 2011 9:00pm PDTThe newest trailer for the upcoming "choose your own adventure" RPG from Eidos Montreal features another quick glimpse at the multiple paths that players can utilize to achieve their goals.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is promising to give players the option of being completely agressive or primarily sneaky. Interestingly enough, the footage is from the same level as the recent developer walkthroughs released by publisher Square Enix. We've year to see any other sections of the game in action, so we can only hope each mission throughout the game features the same level of choice.
For more details on the upcoming title, make sure to check out our recent interview with Deus Ex: Human Revolution game director Jean-François Dugas, as well as our interview with the game's lead writer and narrative designer, Mary DeMarle. Parts one and two of our hands-on is based on the same level shown here in the video, so be sure to check those out for more information, too.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming to PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on August 24.
