Mortal Kombat media features new screens, a 'TV Spot' and Kratos in action
by Xav de Matos, Mar 24, 2011 3:30pm PDTA slew of new media for Mortal Kombat has been released recently, including a handful of new screenshots, an extended look at the PS3-exclusive character Kratos, and a stylish TV spot.
The Kratos gameplay (below) does a good job of mashing in nods to the God of War series alongside MK's standard fisticuffs action. You want "Quicktime Events" for Kratos? Developer NetherRealm Studios is happy to oblige.
Mortal Kombat is set to return alongside its klassic kollection of over-the-top moves and Fatalities on April 19 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Shacknews recently went hands-on with the game's included "Fatality Mode" and "Challenge Tower." So, you have something to read while you wait.
