Sony transferring PlayStation accounts to 'SNEA'
On April 1, Sony will be transferring accounts from Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) to Sony Network Entertainment America (SNEA). This is not a prank. At least, we don't think so.
Sony will be changing user accounts on the day most likely to make everyone think it's an elaborate prank. Joystiq reports that on April 1, your Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEA) account, including the funds in your wallet, will be transferred to Sony Network Entertainment America (SNEA).
The new arm of the company will be handling online services from now on, so you'll need to agree to a new Terms of Service and User Agreement. You can opt out, in which case SNEA will return any existing funds in your account and, presumably, cut you off from the PlayStation Network. The new ToS agreement can be viewed at Qriocity, implying that Sony is making good on its promises to tie the music and movie service more directly to the PlayStation brand.
The network change comes as Sony prepares to roll out the NGP. Sony seems to be positioning the device to compete with the runaway success of the iPhone, so bringing all of the network activities under one umbrella would be a sensible move in that direction. Even if, you know, it involves Qriocity.

I'm guessing that they think this somehow brings people outside of the US into it's jurisdiction when they do something 'wrong'.

I think this is a Bait for geohot, if he accepts this new terms of conditions he can be in trouble, because they are deperately trying to take the case to the california tribunals these days.
Its really sad that they are screwing all of the PSN users just because they raged against a man, and they are now blinded by that rage.

Fucking un-install it NOW and disable automatic wallet funding on your account! - The wording on that shit program did NOT say "by installing this, you agree it is free for one month, then paid ongoing subscription" - I was under the impression I isntalled something "free for one month, then cuts off and you can opt to continue using it in the menus and pay money"
Not so - they billed me for 12.99 last week, I've called the bank to cancel the transaction, fucking cunts.
