WH40K: Space Marine spreading Chaos in August
by Alice O'Connor, Mar 24, 2011 6:30am PDTThe bloodthirsty Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is slated to launch in August, publisher THQ has revealed. However, Captain Titus of the Ultramarines won't only be cutting, hacking and stomping through oodles of Orks; THQ has now announced that the forces of Chaos also stand in his way.
The dastardly Chaos Space Marines will be "lurking in the shadows pulling the strings for their own nefarious purposes," backed up by foul forces including Renegade Militia, Tainted Psykers and Bloodletter Daemons.
THQ says that Chaos add "more variety ... by complementing the animalistic and horde-like Orks with a much more powerful and strategic enemy." Xenos and heretics alike, all shall be purged in the Emperor's name.
Developed by Relic Entertainment, maker of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution, WH40K: Space Marine will hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
