Trine 2 delayed into 'late summer'

While the fairytale platformer sequel is a whole season further away, we do at least have a gorgeous new trailer to tide us over.

With the vernal equinox barely behind us, Trine 2 publisher Atlus has announced that Frozenbyte's fairytale platformer will no longer arrive this spring. Only The Wizard knows why. Instead, it's now expected in "late summer."

To help soften the blow, Atlus has released a new trailer revealing a little more of the "alluring adventure" players will be taken on. Yes, it's looking as lovely as ever.

Trine 2 is headed for a downloadable release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, promising online co-op.

You forgot about the possibility of Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3, and Battlefield 3! All speculation, but I have a feeling they are coming out by Q2 or Q3.

I've been listening to Trine's soundtrack lately. Such an awesome piece of work. I really hope Ari Pulkkinen is working with them again on Trine 2.

You should try it, great game and usually you can find it on sale anywhere for 4.99. Worth more if you ask me but I love deals.
