Sensing an increased threat level on your mobile device, Ubisoft and Gameloft have dispatched the Rainbow Squad. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard brings 11 campaign missions, three-player online co-op, and competitive multiplayer for up to ten tactical gamers rocking an iOS-powered handheld.

The game is available now for the not so cheap price of $6.99 from the iTunes App Store.

Being a Rainbow Six fan, I decided to check it out. I'm not crazy about the virtual button positioning and the Rainbow team hasn't been this sloppy at tactics since they attempted to infiltrate an ice castle with blowtorches, but as a straight-up shooter, it's pretty fun.

Now where's our next PC and console installment?

It looks well good but i agree another R6 for the 360 would be grand athough i'm happy Ghost Recon will be out this year. They should bring on another R6 next year.

I agree. I loved the R6 series. And even though I'll probably get punched in the dick for saying it, I loved the Vegas series the most.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 might be one of the most underrated games in history. One of my greatest memories in gaming came from doing an all night run through of the terrorist hunt maps on PC with some random person I met online.

            Awwww, hell yeah.

A friend of mine and I would have terrorist hunt contests where we'd try to beat a map as fast as possible with only pistols/explosives, and no armour as quickly as possible.

I saved an image of part of the results a while back:

i never finished this one because my friend's disc got scratched by his 360 so we never finished the co-op campaign.
