Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard infiltrates iOS
by Xav de Matos, Mar 18, 2011 9:30am PDTSensing an increased threat level on your mobile device, Ubisoft and Gameloft have dispatched the Rainbow Squad. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard brings 11 campaign missions, three-player online co-op, and competitive multiplayer for up to ten tactical gamers rocking an iOS-powered handheld.
The game is available now for the not so cheap price of $6.99 from the iTunes App Store.
Being a Rainbow Six fan, I decided to check it out. I'm not crazy about the virtual button positioning and the Rainbow team hasn't been this sloppy at tactics since they attempted to infiltrate an ice castle with blowtorches, but as a straight-up shooter, it's pretty fun.
