DJ Hero 2 doesn't know the meaning of the word canceled. Now that fan support has led to the promise of continued content, Activision announced and released a new set of DLC for the game today, titled the "Indie Hip Hop Mix Pack." It's already available for download, and includes an eclectic mix of underground hip hop artists.

You can grab the pack for $8 (640 MS Points) on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Wii doesn't get a bundled pack, but the songs can be bought as singles for $3 (300 Wii Points) each. Check out the listing below and see if you're hip enough to recognize any names.

    Indie Hip Hop Mix Pack

    • "My World Premiere" by Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf mixed with "The Red (Instrumental)" by Jaylib

    • "Party Hard" by The Perceptionists featuring Guru & Camu Tao, mixed with "Ghostwriter" by RJD2

    • "The Best Day" by Atmosphere (Remix by FSG)

Hmm...super slow tracks. No thanks. When they're this slow it really screws me up when I play. Glad they're continuing with DLC though.

      ATMOSPHERE!

I just don't know if I can justify buying DLC for that game though.

Yea, I mean all I have left is on-line shit to do in that game, and DLC would just make it harder for me to do that... plus that's a shitty Atmosphere song.

The RJD2 track is where it's at. Those beats are so funky you could smell them across an ocean.
