The weekend's here and so is another round of discounts from digital distributors of PC games. Going cheap this weekend are Total War games, recent Battlefield titles, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Mount & Blade: Warband, Wings of Prey, Crysis, Mirror's Edge and oh so many more. The new format I was playing with last week proved divisive but the overall response was positive so I'm giving it another go. What say you? Here's our selection from this weekend's digital deals:

Total War Collection is a steal. Brand new game + 2 recent games. You'll get at least 100 hours of entertainment from it.

Do yourself a favor and download Darth Mod Ultimate Commander 6.9 for Empire.

for $5, crasher looks somewhat interesting, however, this 'review' from the end of January makes it seem like there is no one playing this multiplayer only game:

I'm surprised that Steam didn't have a Dragon Age deal.

I've been watching this series grow for years but I haven't really played one of them besides demos. I really liked the demos but I'm concerned I would grow bored of them as I often do with Starcraft. The strategy genre seems to be a "once in a while" thing for me. I'm not sure that I should invest because of this.

      THIEF
I'm just confused why Gamers Gate has Thief 1 and 3, but not 2, nor the Gold version of Thief 1? Weird.

Any opinions on Lost Planet 2? I liked the first one (aside from the stupid boss fights)

Please thumbnail the screenshots, they are a real chore to scroll through on a laptop. They take up a third of the screen.
