Moonshot Games has followed up yesterday's Fallen Frontier announcement with a few answers to burning questions. In a blog post, the studio confirmed that it's aiming for release in the first half of 2012. "Fallen Frontier is a big 'small' game!" said co-founder Michel Bastien. "We have a lot of work to do between now and releasing the game."

The developer is still searching for a publisher, though with the buzz we doubt it will have trouble finding one. And as many observers predicted, it will be a downloadable game. Moonshot says it would like to release on Steam, XBLA, and PSN. "That said, a final decision on platforms is usually made with a publishing partner. That'll be the case for Fallen Frontier as well."

As previously reported, Moonshot will be showing off the side-scrolling shooter this weekend at PAX East, so attendees can get hands-on time with the game.
