PlayStation Store update spreads Spring Fever
by Steve Watts, Mar 09, 2011 12:50am PSTSony's weekly PlayStation Store update update kicks off this year's Spring Fever sale, adding more discounts to the ones from the Gamers Choice awards.
As previously reported, PlayStation Plus subscribers get an early crack at the Mortal Kombat demo this week. This comes alongside demos for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, and Explodemon.
For the Spring Fever sale, Castle Crashers, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Dead Nation, and Age of Zombies are all 30% off, or 50% off for PS+ subscribers. The sale also has discounts for Ricochet ($4.99), Kung-Fu Live ($9.99), and Shift Extended ($1.99). Mega Man 3 has also been reduced to $3 for Plus users, but not as part of the Spring Fever sale.
The launch DLC for Dragon Age 2 is available, along with The Da Vinci Disappearance for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, new Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit car packs, and several small packs for MLB 11: The Show.
Plus the update brings various videos, a new issue of Qore, and more. Check out the blog for all the details, or just go download Mortal Kombat. We know that's what you care about anyway.
