Deus Ex: Human Revolution due in August
by Alice O'Connor, Mar 08, 2011 9:00pm PSTAn August launch for Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been revealed through the unusual--and often inaccurate--medium of a GameStop listing. Developer Eidos Montreal has confirmed this as correct via Twitter.
The prequel to Ion Storm's seminal Deus Ex will be released in North America on August 23 and hit the UK on August 26. Human Revolution was once due to launch before the end of March this year but publisher Square Enix revealed in December 2010 that it had been delayed to allow for "further polish."
Deus Ex: Human Revolution will hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. For more on the game, check out our recent two-part hands-on preview.

It still is targeting consoles, so I doubt there will be a huge hike in requirements, but once you've replaced the renderer, performance can totally change. Look at Deus Ex 2 and Thief 3 vs. UT2004.
