Pokemon White/Black set series sales records
by Steve Watts, Mar 08, 2011 12:00pm PSTThe latest Pokemon incarnations, Black and White, have broken the previous series sales record, according to Nintendo. The pair sold a combined 1.08 million units on launch day, March 6, marking them the new kings of critter-cockfighting sales.
The previous record of a paltry 780,000 had been set by Diamond and Pearl in 2007. The higher figures for Black and White make sense, given that it doles out all new Pokemon for the main quest instead of recycling existing ones, and the new entries add a handful of new features like triple and rotation battles.

Is it still the same as Red/Blue/Yellow where it's easy to get pretty lost without something like a strategy guide? I remember really struggling as a kid before I got mine.
