      They still make PS2 games?

Sadly, looks like they're just about done. WWE All-Stars is the only other PS2 game coming down the pipe in the foreseeable future, though we MAY get some sports titles later on this year. I doubt we'll still see support next year. :(

which is still amazing, given the PS3's almost 5 years old now

I was really hoping we'd see more budget/fringe localizations sneaking out to the west over the last two years or so. Especially bummed we didn't get any more of those Sega Ages releases, particularly since the later ones were quite awesome (The Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box, Monster World Collection, Dynamite Deka, and Phantasy Star Collection are absolute must haves).

and man, I really wanted that cat-themed spin off of Adventures of Darwin

Madden Football 2012 is the last one actually due out in august. This will be the last one if all is told. Nothing more on Gamestop's reserve lists and nothing in the ESRB database either. Though I wonder what the last 1million + selling PS2 game was?

Catering to the audience still using PS2s, I see.

I know at least 2 house holds that don't have a Wii / 360 / ps3, but they still use their PS2. Hell, my brother still uses it as his DVD player and plays God of War on it when he has some time to kill!

this would be a hundred times more useful if you actually put release dates next to each title i this list . i want to know when a game is release, not the week range it might be released during

Yeah, any special cases are usually mentioned in the blurb before the list of titles.

I think Nintendo games are the only ones that consistently break the norm and come out on different days. and I think some blizzard games have come out on thursdays.

then it should be 'Video Game Release list for 3/8' if that was the case, but it isn't, its a list for a whole week

I guess Alice needs to add some kind of disclaimer like "Barring any unforeseen delays, most North American retailers will have these games on shelves by Wednesday" like Faylor used to do for people that don't know what day games come out in their region?
