Tropico 4 delayed until August

When publisher Kalypso announced an Xbox 360 edition of Haemimont's Tropico 4 in February, the game was due to arrive in the second quarter of 2011. Evidently, El Presidente was making campaign pledges he could not keep, as it's now expected to hit PC and 360 in August.

While El Presidente struggles with his timing, he clearly still cares for us, as we have a new teaser trailer to enjoy. The trailer gives a quick overview of the city-building strategy game's new features, from "interactive" natural disasters to new global superpowers.

    I agree... maybe that's when the super powers should start trying to pressure/strong arm your country one way or the other if you haven't already, or maybe even face assault if you've linked with one side. Maybe rebel forces from another island?
