EA confirms Command & Conquer studio
by Steve Watts, Feb 25, 2011 9:00am PSTIt seems that the leak from last week was true, as EA has now officially unveiled its revamped Command & Conquer site. The new site confirms that Victory Games will head up Command & Conquer development, with industry veteran Jon Van Caneghem at the helm.
An internal interview with Van Caneghem also confirms the studio locations in Los Angeles, Texas, and Shanghai, China, and their first project being a new "AAA" Command & Conquer game.
The new site focuses quite a bit on making a "stable base for future development" of the Command & Conquer series, so paired with a brand new studio it seems that EA has big plans to iterate on the franchise.

Bunkerbustering some garrisoned buildings with stealth fighters and following up with an A10 strike on the defense buildings, with some tanks rolling in right behind was good fun.
