Fable 3 rises to power on PC May 17; 'Traitor's Keep' DLC coming to Xbox 360 on March 1
by Xav de Matos, Feb 24, 2011 2:00pm PSTGrab your wizard hat and robe, ladies and gentlemen, because Fable 3 has a release date for the PC.
Xbox Live's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb revealed that the PC version of the Lionhead-developed role-playing game will launch on May 17.
Included in the PC version is support for NVIDIA's 3D Vision--though the game's 3D rating was not revealed--as well as an exclusive "hardcore mode." As you may have guessed, the new mode offers players a higher level of difficulty.
The blog post also revealed that a new set of downloadable content will arrive for the Xbox 360 version of the RPG. "Traitor's Keep" launches on March 1 for 560MS Points ($7), and adds three new levels: Ravenscar Keep, Clockwork Island, and the Godwin Estate. The DLC includes new quests, characters, and 250 GamerScore points.
We've also added a bundle of new screens for Traitor's Keep, so take a look if you're interesting in continuing your adventure.
