Duke Nukem Forever has been in development for a long time -- so long that it's hard to keep tabs on everyone who's touched the game. As a result, Gearbox is giving past contributors a chance to be in the credits.

The DNF Credits site welcomes anyone to submit their name. Be warned that Gearbox will be verifying the information to make sure "I.P. Freely" isn't credited as a past developer. The entries that pass Gearbox's verification will be named in what is sure to be the longest credits sequence ever.

So if you've worked on Duke Nukem Forever at any point during its 10+ years in development, make sure you get your name in. If not, the form has a "Fan" option for Mr. Freely.

wouldn't it make a bit more sense if you could see the comment instead of having to open a new tab?

like, comment from duke's contributers followed by the actual comment itself? or am i nuts.

I don't want massive news story posts taking up half my chatty. In reply would be perfect

well there ya go. that still makes a lot more sense than expecting people to open a new tab and chatty.

I actually thought replies to the article OP would appear as new OPs below the article. Disappointing.

And I agree, they need a TL;DR or paragrapgh in the OP. Or something collapsable. Making OPs collapsable is something we should have anyway.

If I select "fan" and fill out the form, do I get put on the "assholes who think they're funny" list?

This is pretty cool. I really would love to read a book about the entire history of making Duke Nukem Forever. Maybe I'll write one if I ever get this dissertation written...

A box of Federal brand ammo in the background...looks like 9mm (9x19)...maybe 40S&W...but I'm pretty sure its 9mm Luger. Apparently Duke likes the same brand of ammo I do (though I don't think those are HSTs...probably Hydrashocks in the picture).
