Assassin's Creed Brotherhood finally has a PC release date, along with system specifications. Ubisoft sent word in a press release that the PC version will launch in North America on March 22, for all your stabby needs. This is a change from the previously announced March 17 date, which was a Thursday.

The standard release includes the game, both of the free multiplayer updates that came to consoles, and the recently announced Da Vinci Disappearance DLC for $49.99. It's available in both retail and digital formats. The Digital Deluxe edition, on the other hand, is only available digitally, but throws in two more multi-player characters, two single-player maps, one extra skin, and "additional multimedia content" for $59.99.

The announcement also included a new trailer, some PC screens, and the full system specs. Ubisoft also confirmed to Joystiq that the game will ditch the unpopular always-on DRM, instead opting for an initial log-in at the start.

Check the specs out after the break.

I don't think they are dropping their DRM, maybe they're just not mentioning it to get sales :P. According to the Ubisoft website you still need a constant internet connection to play the game, even in single player. And yes I know who isn't connected to the internet now-a-days BUT still I live in a farm area in the middle of no where. Where my connection is limited to crap internet. It's still a no buy for me Ubisoft :S

I think in this one you have to be online to start the game. And yes I know, I'd like to play some games on the go too but nu-uh.
