Dragon Age 2 Demo Now on Xbox Live, PC and PS3 Due Soon [Updated]
by Steve Watts, Feb 22, 2011 8:00am PST[Updated: 13:56] The PC demo is now out and can be downloaded from FileShack in English, French and German flavours.
[Original] The anticipated demo for Dragon Age 2 has hit Xbox Live Marketplace this morning, exclusively for Gold members, coming in at a whopping 1.98 GB. As previously reported, the demo is due for the PC and PlayStation 3 today as well, so we expect to see them available later.
Completing the demo will net you Hayder's Razor, a special blade and one of many pre-release goodies. BioWare has also promised two more items (boosting money and XP) if the demo is played by a million users. Users will have to log in to their EA accounts to be counted towards the tally, so downloading the demo over and over again won't work, cheaters.
The full game will be coming March 8, so you still have time to consolidate all of your pre-release loot.

Probably because I maxed out the player stats? In an RPG my attention to the game seems to be directly related to increasing my player's stats and collecting 'stuff'. As soon as the game switches over to, "OK, no you MUST take this path and there's no turning back... oh, and you're not going to get anything for it but a cutscene at the end," I completely lose interest.
