      Aren't the people who buy the game at only $5 the equivalent of console gamers who don't buy the game at all, because they don't feel its worth their money full price, and it never reaches the $5 dollar price tag? Those people wouldn't pay $60 dollar on the console either. They would just not buy it. Or they could just rent it for $3 bucks or borrow it from a friend. That means not much money for the company either. And come on, for this to be $5 dollar will take ages anyway, COD4 still has never been <10$ on sale and that game is from 2007. Most people don't wait that long for games they are reasonably interested in and will buy it on more expensive sales. I doubt there are much gamers who are looking forward to a game a lot and wait 5 years for it to hit a hamburger-sale.
