Bizarre Creations Video Editor Makes Beautiful Farewell Clip
by Jeff Mattas, Feb 18, 2011 2:45pm PSTAfter weeks of unsuccessfully trying to find a buyer following Activision's decision to put developer Bizarre Creations on the chopping block, the studio that brought us the beloved Project Gotham series, Geometry Wars, and - more recently - Blur, has closed up shop for good today. (via Develop)
As a farewell send-off, Bizarre's (now former) video editor Eamon Urtone has put together a very classy video featuring soft piano music and slow-motion clips of the studio's work. If you've been a fan of the studio or its titles, it's more than a little sad-inducing.
R.I.P. Bizarre Creations. You'll be missed.

But it was apparent to me early on that Blur was gonna fail. Mario cart doesn't really go together with real cars. It probably would've turned out okay if it was a Vigilante 8 or Twisted Metal type of game.
