Mortal Kombat is due to be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 19, developed by NetherRealm Studios. The stars of the short film 'Mortal Kombat Rebirth' are returning this spring in a live-action web series to promote the new game.

      The game looks pretty great too. It looks more like what I was thinking the last one should have... but I guess the DC license made it difficult to pull that off.

      I am kind of upset, I bought the tournament edition (pre-order) for that arcade cabinet style controller... I really really want that... but tournament edition does not include the book ends, and I cannot see spending another $99 for the Kollectors edition
