Arcana Heart 3 Coming to North America via PSN
by Alice O'Connor, Feb 15, 2011 6:00am PSTExamu's anime-styled fighter Arcana Heart 3 is getting a North American release, publisher Aksys Games has announced. While it was released on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan, it'll only be available to Americans as a PlayStation Network download.
The 2D fighter boasts a line-up of 23 characters, from a young girl who brings drawings to life to a demon nun, who can be paired with one of 23 "spirits" to augment their abilities. Single-player offerings come in the form of story, score attack and training modes. The online multiplayer side is built upon a system developed by BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger dev Arc System Works and packs goodies including lobbies, ranked matches and online replays.
Arcana Heart 3 is due to be released this spring. Aksys has yet to announce the price.
