Everything becomes more pleasant with a burst of noise. Not that rubbish 'white' noise all the squares are listening to, no, proper noise, like pink or red/brown noise.
Why does modern literature favour the tragic over the comic? It's certainly not what the Ancient Greeks, those idolised originators of our culture, thought. Sure, you could apply this thinking to video games, if you fancy. And why not!

Hey guys, do you remember hearing about some game that was kind of minecraftish (before Minecraft though) in that it was a huge sandbox world where you had to harvest resources to build things? It had a very surreal visual style and some esoteric name. There was supposed to be a whole network of AI dudes that build up cities and there were turrents and power networks and stuff.
Everyone was all jizzy about it when the guy made some preview videos but now I don't know how to find out if it ever released.
